Windrush Caribbean Film Festival Festival Direction, Brand & Operations — 2025

TGRG was brought in to lead the sixth edition of the Windrush Caribbean Film Festival — stepping into full Festival Director responsibility as the organisation’s ambitions grew.

Working with filmmakers and partners across the UK, US, Caribbean, Canada and Colombia, we rebuilt the festival’s operational infrastructure from the ground up: new website, newsletter platform, internal systems and standard operating procedures that set the festival up for long-term sustainability.

We directed national delivery across Brixton, Hackney, Liverpool, Bristol, Birmingham and Scotland — recruiting the team, securing venues and coordinating logistics across every region. Alongside this, we created a new visual identity and festival artwork, and reactivated dormant social media and YouTube channels to rebuild audience momentum ahead of the event.

The 2025 festival was delivered successfully across all regions and online, with a refreshed brand and a stronger operational foundation for future editions.
