The Ascension Years, an exclusive collection of rarely seen images of some of hip-hop and R’n’B most iconic musicians has opened at Black Cultural Archives in London.
All taken in the capital between the 90s and 00s, these unique photos capture a time where artists such as Beyonce, Notorious BIG, Mary J Blige and Nas we’re unknown artists with Tee capturing them unfiltered.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 3 September 2023 with BCA being open Thursday to Sunday.
