TGRG are thrilled to announce the signing of legendary hip-hop photographer Tee Max. Tee Max has over two decades of experience in capturing some of the most iconic faces in hip hop and R&B, including legends like Biggie, Toni Braxton and Beyonce. Tee Max’s work has been celebrated for its unique style and ability to capture the essence of his subjects.
Tee Max’s journey as a photographer began over thirty years ago when he first discovered his love for photography. With a natural talent for capturing the Black experience and culture, he quickly established himself, capturing key points of hip-hop history such as Nas’ first-ever trip to the UK and images from the set of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan video ‘Gravel Pit’. His unique approach to photography, which blends elements of art and storytelling, has earned him much respect among his peers.
“To have Tee join the TGRG Family at this point in his career is just mind blowing for us,” says TGRG Managing Director Juanita Rosenior. “The more we work with him and uncover new images of the world’s most recognisable faces in hip-hop, I realise that we’re unearthing real history.
